Grrrrreat day as Tony the Tiger says! 😊
1. Breakfast: fried egg, toast, potatoes and BACON!!!
2. Santa Elena Primary School infant 1,2 and Standard 1 (kindergarten-ish to 1st grade-ish) were our first group! Went spectacularly!!!
2. Lunch at the Seminary with Fr Chi (head guy there) and Mateo and Shajir (seminarians we knew from last year). Lunch was steak roll ups, fruit and a little square of flan.
3. Standard 3 was our afternoon. Went great again!
4. Swimming was 99 degrees today and lots of humidity!
5. Dinner was shrimp with HERBED BUTTERED pasta and garlic toast. (a personnel fav of mine)
6. Session... Praise and worship led by a local music minister from the parish we attend. Small group discussions about our strengths and weaknesses and what we are willing to bring to the table. Awesome discussion!!!
7. Reorganization for tomorrow and off to bed. Gonna drop off a load of laundry tomorrow morning. I've never done that but others have and it seems to work out great. I'll let you know. 🙂
Jordyn and Amanda hanging out... The window literally looking for a breeze!
The 'Ark of the Covent'...
Craft we made by taking a picture of each student and adding it to a cross he or she colored. Gosh they are precious!
Puppet show! S/O to Lisa Harms for the awesome Scrip to go along with the 'Wall of Jericho' story.
Roomies... Before the day began!
I will add so much more to this when I get caught up on sleep, promise!!!
Love to all!
